Bright red with a palish rim. Enticing, nuanced nose combines redcurrant, tobacco, spices and smoky underbrush. Supple, round and fairly deep, with its attractive inner-mouth sweetness given shape by adequate acids and broad, dusty tannins.

Good deep red. Reduced aromas of black cherry, licorice and leather. Then more vibrant in the middle palate than the Poisets, with lovely precision and minerality to its fresh dark fruit flavors. Classic Nuits with a noble rusticity. Finishes persistent, suave and sweet, with noteworthy aromatic persistence.
