1999 Eitelsbacher Karthauserhofberg Spatlese

It might well be a function of this wine youth, but unusually bright acids for '99 and enormous sweetness seem to be at war. Perhaps it is this effect that creates a slight sense of discord between lemon and green herb flavors on the one hand, and red fruit preserves on the other. Still, there is no mistaking the abundance of stuffing here.
