Lots of exotic floral notes, cedary herbs, and mulberry and raspberry fruits define the 2019 Château Mayne Lalande, a medium-bodied, balanced, charming Listrac that will keep for 5-7 years.

The nose is all about the currants and tobacco leaf. The wine is medium-bodied, fresh lifted, energetic and ready to go with its soft red currant, spice and savory herb filled finish. Drink from 2022-2031. 89 Points

Sweet berries and black cherries with floral aromas, too. Medium body and firm, chewy tannins with polish and focus. Savory finish. Try after 2024.

The 2019 Mayne Lalande has good depth but at the same time, strong savory accents from the Cabernet leave the wine feeling a bit vegetal. I liked this a bit more from barrel. This just needs a bit of fine tuning.
