Tasting notes
The 2018 Fourcas Hosten Blanc has more intensity than the 2019 by direct comparison. It is certainly more phenolic in style, and it offers peach skin, orange blossom, nectarine, yellow plum and light waxy aromas that join the fray with continued aeration. The palate is well balanced with good substance and depth. Heavier than the 2019, it might not possess the same grace and poise, yet there is more concentration and textural satisfaction. Engaging stem ginger and rhubarb notes appear toward the finish, completing a very fine white Listrac that should age with style.

A bright and beautiful white with a pretty lemon and salty undertone. Medium body. Flavorful finish.
