Tasting notes
The light gold-colored 2000 Riesling Cordon Cut has good acidity, 11% alcohol, and a style somewhere between a sweet Auslese and Beerenauslese from Germany. There are abundant quantities of honeysuckle and jammy tropical fruits in addition to wonderful, refreshing acidity to provide uplift and zest. This pure Riesling is best drunk with fruit desserts over the next 2-4 years. Imported by The Australian Premium Wine Collection, John Larchet, USA Wine West, LLC, San Rafael, CA; phone: (800)-485-5753 and Chicago Brands, Chicago, IL; tel. (312) 466-9300.

Bright pale gold. Captivating, vibrant aromas of pineapple, grapefruit, peach, honeysuckle and ginger. Racy and very intense, with zingy, slightly high-toned peach and ginger flavors framed by superb acidity. Offers terrific snappy fruit, excellent spine and a dynamic, palate-cleansing aftertaste. Year in and year out, one of Australia great sweet wines.
