The 2024 La Pointe has a deep colour and a comparatively powerful bouquet of opulent black and blueberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a structured opening. Graphite-tinged black fruit leads to a sapid and quite structured finish. This is a linear La Pointe that maybe just needs a little more sustain, but it should repay a couple of years in the cellar.

Good depth of fruit, showing black cherries, fine herbs and walnut shells. Fine-grained with medium body and juicy fruit. Tannins are firm but polished. Nice length.
Flowers and cherries come through easily in this medium-bodied charmer. The fruits are fresh, and vibrant, with zesty cherries, and red plums, with crispness, chocolate, and licorice in the red plum finish. Drink from 2027-2039.
Sappy, juicy, deep ruby red colour, grilled cedar, sandalwood oak. A slow build through the palate, velvety tannins, coupled with salinity and juice, great quality in the vintage. Since 2023 owners Generalis also have Croque Michotte in St Emilion (not tasted). Harvest 23 September to 4 October.
