Blended with 5% Viognier as well as seeing a small splash of stems, the 2021 Côte Rôtie Blonde Du Seigneur has a medium-bodied, very pretty, perfumed, floral, smoky styled that's classic Côte Rôtie. Ripe black raspberries, spring flowers, pepper, and subtle gamey aromas and flavors. This medium-bodied, elegant, seamless beauty has a cool, focused, yet still ripe, delicate profile.
The 2021 Côte-Rôtie Blonde du Seigneur is 95% Syrah co-fermented with 5% Viognier. Light to medium in body, this is a pretty 2021 red that’s quite juicy and refreshing. Delicate red fruits jump out of the glass, complemented by blossom and cedar. Offering fairly modest flavor concentration, it ends with moderate persistence on the bright finish.
