Ripe black cherries, leafy tobacco, cedar pencil, and graphite all define the 2023 Les Tourelles De Pichon Baron, a Merlot-dominated blend (72% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 8% Cabernet Franc) that was aged 12 months in 30% new French oak. It's plump and round on the palate, with a supple, layered mouthfeel, soft tannins, and outstanding length. Drink this absolutely classic Pauillac over the coming 15+ years. There are roughly 10,600 cases produced. Drink 2026-2041.

The 2023 Les Tourelles de Longueville, the château's Merlot-based blend, is plump, juicy and very easy to like. Plum, black cherry, mocha, new leather and dark spice flesh out effortlessly. Savory Cabernet top notes lend aromatic breadth on the explosive, layered finish. This is gorgeous stuff.

The 2023 Les Tourelles de Longueville has a fragrant bouquet with a melange of red and black fruit, vanilla and light violet scents. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. Smooth in texture with a keen line of acidity, this plays it safe toward the finish but there's nothing wrong with that.

The 2023 Les Tourelles De Longueville is more upfront and charming, with beautiful black cherry and more red fruits as well as spice and floral notes. It's balanced, medium to full-bodied, ripe, textured, and seamless, with loads of upfront charm.
