It's very much in the forward, front end-loaded style of the vintage and is going to put a smile on your face any time over the coming 15 years.

The 2022 Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 22 months in French oak. Deep garnet-purple colored. It storms out of the glass with powerful notes of crème de cassis, plum pudding, and Chinese five spice, followed by hints of sandalwood, jasmine tea, and candied violets. The full-on, full-bodied palate is rich and seductive, with a lightly chewy texture with just enough freshness, finishing long and opulent. A real head-turner!
From relatively young vines, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is less impressive from bottle than it was from barrel, yet it still shines for its complex, harmonious aromas of ripe cherries and raspberries, dusty earth notes and hints of dried spices. It's full-bodied, richly concentrated and velvety-silky in texture, with a long, dusty finish tinged with licorice.
