Score 94/100 · Drink 2025-2035, Angus Hughson, Vinous, Jun 2023
This opaque 2019 Shiraz Ares is classically styled - robust, bold and savory thanks to its hedonistic layers of mulberry, blackberry and roasted meat aromas well matched to spicy oak. Opulent yet nicely structured, it delivers heady chocolate-berry flavors before more savory earthy tones rise on a lengthy finish. Fans of full-throttle Barossa Shiraz will not be disappointed.

Score 95/100 · Drink 2022-2032, Erin Larkin, Wine Advocate, Sep 2022
This 2019 Ares Shiraz is firm and savory and shaped by a pliable rachis of tannin and spice. The fruit strays across blood plums, mulberries, damsons and licorice and leaves a trail of star anise and aniseed its wake. The tannins are very prominent and have a traditional feel, Decant it.
