Tasting notes
This was closed at first, with subtle floral tones of apple blossom and honeysuckle dancing on a background of lemon and pear flesh. The palate has that familiar drive of acidity leading into the impressively long, saline finish.

The cool-vintage 2014 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Fonte Canale is as exotic as ever, displaying dried mangos, peaches, tropical florals and citrus tones. Soft and round, this envelopes the palate with ripe archard fruits offset by sour citrus and an inner herbal thrust. Despite the challenging vintage, the 2014 is aging beautifully, maintaining fantastic freshness and verve Lime and flint hints resonate as a bump of residual acidity maintains marvelous freshness. Most likely overlooked at the time of release, the 2014 is worth seeking out
