Aromas of pear, sweet orange oil and hazelnuts introduce the 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Macherelles, a medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny wine that's racy and incisive, standing out as an unusually electric rendition of this bottling.

The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Macherelles 1er Cru has touches of mussel and lemon rind on the nose. It's introverted at the moment and needs time. The palate is fresh, vibrant and a little creamy in texture toward the finish, with a touch of spice on the aftertaste. Give this a couple of years.
