Fleshy and expressive, the 2021 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Combottes bursts with aromas of cherries, red berries and plums. Medium to full-bodied, lively and layered, with good depth at the core, this giving, vibrant wine is defined above all by purity of fruit.
The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Les Combottes 1er Cru has a taut and delineated bouquet, not a million miles away from the Chambolle Village but with more fruit intensity. The palate is quite strict at first, loosening with aeration; a fine thread of acidity binds together the vibrant red fruit. Airy and fine-boned towards the finish that displays just a slight attenuation. Enjoy this over the next 15-20 years.
