Tasting notes
The 2003 Château des Tours Côtes du Rhône Reserve shows lovely cherry fruit with subtle earth and spice notes. Medium bodied, ripe but also balanced with a lush texture and a nice finish.

The impressive 2003 Cotes du Rhone (60% Grenache, 25% Cinsault, and 15% Syrah) exhibits a terrific floral, flamboyant bouquet of over-ripe black cherries, the aforementioned flowers, pepper, and a hint of resin. It is broad, round, rich in fruit, and silky and seductive. Drink it over the next 4-5 years. Importer: Martine’s Wines, Novato, CA; tel. (415) 883-0400
About the producer

Domaine des Tours is a separate label to Ch. des Tours, however both ranges are made at the same Vacqueyras property. Part of the Rayas galaxy and made by Emmanuel Reynaud, the wines are a source of great value and offer a glimpse of the Rayas style.
