Score 90-92/100 · Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Sep 2015
Bright, pale yellow. Musky, reduced aromas of white peach, pear and smoke. Sweet and glyceral but not at all over the top; in fact a bit youthfully disjointed today as the strong acidity is battling with the wine's stone fruit flavors. This distinctly thick wine finishes with a saline nuance and noteworthy length. Colin-Morey told me he waits to harvest these vines in order to get more complexity. (ST)
