Tasting notes
A stunning white that has classic honeyed white peach and apricot-like notions literally soaring from the glass, the 2011 Condrieu is medium to full-bodied, rich and textured, yet never seems heavy, cumbersome or over the top. Fresh, lively and with a terrific finish, drink this beauty over the coming 2-3 years. This is another example of how great 2011 was for Condrieu.

Light, bright yellow. Sexy aromas of orange, poached pear and violet, with a hint of vanilla bean. Juicy and broad on entry, then tighter in the mid-palate, offering juicy orchard and pit fruit flavors and a refreshingly bitter note of quinine. Finishes on a smoky note, with very good clarity and precision.
25% new oak. Very deep pinkish straw. Gingery and lively. Intense with tension as well as ripeness. Broad and spicy. Satin texture. Great tension on the finish. (JR)
