Score 93/100 · Drink 2015-2028, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2015

Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2012 tasting in Beaune. The 2012 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Vide Bourse has a clean and fresh, quite mineral-laden bouquet with an attractive light sea spray note emerging with time. The palate is fresh and chalky on the entry: a keen line of acidity and good concentration on the finish without compensating on tension. This is proper Chassagne-Montrachet with class and distinction from a grower that is hitting all the right notes.
