Score 93/100 · Drink 2017-2027, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Mar 2017

The 1995 Larcis Ducasse is a very beautiful wine. It also shows a good bit of the density that is missing from so many of the wines of this era at Larcis. Sweet tobacco, truffle, white pepper, mint and dried cherry notes all lift from the glass. Sensual, silky and beautifully polished, the 1995 is a terrific choice for drinking now and over the next decade or so.

Score 87/100 · Drink 1999-2009, Robert Parker, Jan 1998

The 1995 exhibits a dark ruby/purple color with moderate saturation. A spicy, ripe, richly fruity nose with hints of earth and new oak is moderately intense. Some tannin, good purity, medium body, and a firm, measured, elegant style suggest this wine should last for 12 years, but be fully drinkable in 2-3. Last tasted 11/97
