Score 85-87/100 · Drink 2024-2029, Neal Martin, Jan 2023
The 2021 Pommard Village, which contains a few grapes from Les Rugiens, has a tightly-wound bouquet with touches of cola filtering through. The palate is medium-bodied with strict tannins. It's a bit terse and stoic with a simple dark chocolate-tinged finish.

The 2021 Pommard Village (Maison Louis Jadot) exhibits aromas of sweet cherries, plums and red berries, followed by a medium-bodied, lively palate that's pretty and precise, without the fat and flesh of the last few vintages.
About the producer

Louis Jadot
Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
