Tasting notes
Strawberries, flowers and berries on the nose. Full body with fine tannins that highlight flavors of chocolate and light walnut. Refined and very pretty. Better in 2015.

Very very fine but very confident! Tannic and dusty but with great depth of fruit. Long and tense. (JR)
(15.2% alcohol): Moderately saturated medium red. Lovely Burgundian aromas of red cherry, raspberry and rose petal, plus a hint of marzipan. Silky on entry, then fresh and youthful in the mid-palate, with lovely cut and framing acidity to the red fruit and floral flavors. A generous style but wears its elevated alcohol gracefully, finishing with an almost tart cranberry character and lovely lingering perfume.
Real lift and life to this. Wonderful savoury depths. Quite powerful but with great integrity. (JR)
