Tasting notes
Classic Pomerol darker cherries, currants, chocolate, and smoky notes all emerge from the 2023 Château Lagrange (Pomerol), a beautifully round, medium to full-bodied, supple 2023 that has good mid-palate depth, ripe, polished tannins, and a beautiful salinity on the finish. It's another elegant, polished, beautiful wine in the Moueix portfolio.

The nose offers a hint of oak, a touch of chocolate, red berries, and flowers. On the medium-bodied palate, the wine is supple, vibrant, and refined, with lift, and sweetness in the finish. The wine is produced from 100% Merlot.
The 2023 Lagrange (Pomerol), 100% Merlot, is deep garnet-purple in color. It waltzes out with fruity scents of fresh red cherries, mulberries, and raspberry leaves leading to an undercurrent of crushed rocks and dried Provence herbs. The medium-bodied palate is lightly on its feet, with well-knit acidity and a savory finish.
Plenty of blackberry and black-olive character to this, with cedar and sandalwood undertones. Medium to full body, firm and creamy tannins and a fresh, linear finish. More fruit and tannin at the end, but in a reserved way. 80% merlot, 15% cabernet franc and 5% cabernet sauvignon.
