Tasting notes
The 2023 Ferran Blanc has a pretty nose with touches of peach skin and pithy pear, well-defined and gaining vigor in the glass. The palate is well-balanced with fine acidity. Not amazingly complex but I appreciate the texture, with touches of spice on the oily finish, though it just needs a little more length.

The 2023 Ferran Blanc features notes of white peaches, candle wax, and lime leaves that hop from the glass, with wafts of cedar and wild thyme. The medium-bodied palate is crisp and tight-knit with a savory-laced finish. The blend is 83% Sauvignon Blanc and 17% Semillon.
This is bright and very minerally, with citrus fruit, sliced apples and hints of crushed stones. It’s medium-bodied, solid and structured on the palate with a firm finish, showing fine tannins at the end.
The 2023 Ferran Blanc has a slightly medicinal bouquet with touches of cough candy that complement the orchard fruit. The palate is well balanced with satisfying weight and lovely texture—slightly waxy, with touches of spice and a tang of marmalade on the finish. This is well worth seeking out.
