With a pitch-black nose of dark berry fruit, spice, plenty of cedar and graphite, the 2023 Duhart-Milon is exceptionally well built on the palate. There’s fantastic structure here, with ripe tannins over which the fruit is elegantly draped, flowing from the concentrated core to the long finish. Aged in 50% new oak, with a little more amphora this year (15%) and the rest used oak, with 13% alcohol. Blend: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot

The 2023 Duhart-Milon is quite the powerhouse. A blast of dark-toned fruit, chocolate, spice, new leather, incense, licorice and dried herbs all stain the palate. This is an especially dense Duhart that really explodes on the back end. This is a big, big wine.
Black currant, plums, chocolate, cigar box, and flowers fill the nose. Medium-bodied, fresh, forward, soft, and creamy, the spicy, black with red currants with their sweet, and savory character are going to offer pleasure shortly after release. Yet, this should age for up 2 decades as well. The wine is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Merlot. 13.1% ABV, 3.8 pH.15% Press wine.
The 2023 Château Duhart-Milon is much more Cabernet-dominated and has cassis, graphite, and sappy, floral, and lead pencil notes as well as medium-bodied richness. It's pure and has terrific overall balance, a notable sense of freshness (pH is 3.8), and building tannins.
