Tasting notes
Flowers, cherries, tobacco, and cedar open the medium-bodied, forward, ripe, soft, wine. Sweet, and creamy, you can enjoy this with pleasure on release. If you are seeking a Saint Julien that sells for a song, this early-drinker is a great choice.

A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, the 2023 du Glana has a deep garnet-purple color. It needs a little shaking to wake up notes of juicy red plums, mulberries, and Morello cherries, leading to hints of garrigue, crushed rocks, and lilacs. Medium-bodied, the palate is lightly chewy, with bags of freshness and bright, red berry flavors, finishing on a savory note.
Medium-bodied red with fine, lightly chewy tannins and juicy acidity. Dry and polished. Hint of cedar at the end.
The 2023 Château du Glana offers light tobacco and gravelly scents on the nose that needs more fruit concentration. The palate is medium-bodied with a touch of greenness on the entry, but it actually enhances this Saint-Julien. Very old-school in style, there is undeniable freshness, and I appreciate the crunchiness on the finish.
