Tasting notes
The 2023 Beau-Site is an attractive, approachable Saint-Estèphe. Floral and spice top notes meld into layers of dark red-toned fruit. Open-knit and quite seductive, Beau-Site is impossible to resist. This is an especially delicate wine considering most of the blend is Cabernet Sauvignon.

The 2023 Beau-Site has a clean and well-defined bouquet, leaning more toward red fruit, redcurrant jus and blackberries. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins. Classic Médoc-style Bordeaux, but the finish feels just a bit dry and bitter at the moment.
Cedar, mint leaves, tobacco, currants, and flowers blend together in this forward, fresh, lifted, vibrant, medium-bodied, chewy wine. There's a lot of character here without a big price tag. The wine blends 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc.
Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Beau-Site bursts with bold scents of crushed blackcurrants, dried Provence herbs, and mossy tree bark plus touches of tapenade and green tea. The medium-bodied palate delivers a sturdy frame of chewy tannins and lively acidity to support the muscular, herb-laced fruits, finishing on a mineral note. The blend is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc.
