Score 88/100 · Drink 2018-2026, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Apr 2017
The 2015 Pommard 1er Cru Clos des Poutures has a generous raspberry coulis and cranberry scented bouquet, a puff of chalk dust in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with an austere entry, a classically styled Pommard that needs a little more flesh and density on the finish. I suspect it would show better with another year in bottle.

Light crimson. Attractive fragrance – perhaps not the most typical of Pommard, but appealing. Gentler extraction than the other wines from this address I have tasted. Good persistence. (JR)
