Tasting notes
Surprisingly different to their Szt Tamas in its fruit makeup. This has more stewed fruit, perhaps – although it's not clear to effectively describe the distinction. Honey and herbs and a long, caramelised-ginger finish. Absolutely ready to drink, thanks to the superb structural balance, but will of course age indefinitely. (RH)

This medium amber-colored wine comes from the famous Mézes Mály vineyard. It has amazing aromas of lanolin, honeysuckle and beeswax with just a whiff of iodine. In the mouth there are flavors of orange zest and white peach. It has good weight on the palate with balanced sweetness and acidity.
Pretty nose of marmalade, candied pineapple, flowers, honey and waxed lemons. Very sweet, but elegant and held in check by bright acidity. Some creamy hazelnut undertones to the candied citrus. “Mezes Maly” translates as “Honey Vineyard”. Elegant. Only 2,665 bottles produced. Drink or hold.
