1990 Fontenil

The 1990 Fontenil is a highly extracted, rich, ageworthy wine. The color is deep opaque ruby/purple and the nose offers up aromas of toasty new oak, black fruits, herbs, and spices. In the mouth, considerable density, and a rich, medium to full-bodied texture are followed by a long, moderately rich, elegant finish. The 1990 Fontenil should be at its best by the mid-nineties and last through the first decade of the next century.
