Score 90/100 · Drink 2002-2003, Robert Parker, Dec 2002
The 2000 Soave Classico La Rocca is 100% late-harvested Garganega fermented in large French foudres, and aged in barrel for one year. It possesses a deep straw color in addition to exotic notes of tropical fruits (the result of the late harvest), and dense, ripe flavors with a hint of wood in the background. Its distinctive character makes for an outstanding wine. Drink it over the next year. Importer: Empson, USA, Alexandria, VA; tel. (703) 684-0900
