Tasting notes
The 2021 Reynon maintains the slightly minty black fruit and is subdued at first, though it opens in the glass to reveal touches of graphite and sea spray. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, a little rustic and the coarse toward the chalky finish. There is a bit of sharpness here that needs to be addressed.

The 2021 Reynon has an attractive bouquet of slightly minty black plummy fruit, the oak neatly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm, sinewy tannins. Good substance here, but I seek more freshness and delineation on the finish.
Reynon is quite savory in 2021. Cedar, tobacco, dried herbs and black cherry fruit abound. There is some edginess that needs to resolve. The 2021 is an attractive wine, but not quite as juicy as it usually is.
Attractive aromatics, clear white pepper spice, touches of tar and red fruits, a little light overall but well handled and great value.
