Score 95+/100 · Drink 2032-2060, Neal Martin, Jun 2024
The 2022 Chablis Valmur Grand Cru is very complex and enticing on the nose: lemon verbena, crushed stone, quite a strong oyster shell element that is accentuated by aeration. The palate is very well balanced with a keen thread of acidity, taut and fresh, very sapid with a strict and linear finish that lingers in the mouth. This is a long-term prospect.

The 2022 Chablis Grand Cru Valmur is brilliant, mingling aromas of citrus oil, fresh mint and white flowers with notions of iodine and wet stones in a complex bouquet, followed by a full-bodied, deep and layered palate that's cool and racy, defying the vintage, and concluding with a long, saline finish.
