Score 88/100 · Drink 2006-2010, Robert Parker, Jun 2006
Substantial as well as full-bodied is the 2003 Palazzo della Torre IGT, a blend of 70% Corvina Veronese, 25% Rondinella, and 5% Sangiovese, all aged in oak ovals and smaller barrels for 15 months. It reveals intense herb-infused, black cherry fruit interwoven with notes of white chocolate, mocha, and almonds. Spicy, rich, medium to full-bodied, and dense with no hard edges, this finely tuned red should drink well for 3-4 years. A Leonardo LoCascio Selection, Winebow, Montvale, NJ; tel.
