Tasting notes
From one of the most celebrated crus in Serralunga d'Alba, the 2014 Barolo Cerretta reveals a delicate but firm personality with pretty, intermingled notes of wild berries and fresh violets. This wine is still very much in a state of primary-fruit intensity with pretty brightness and glossy inner shine. This wine speaks to the most fruit-driven side of the vintage.

The 2014 Barolo Cerretta is very pretty, gracious and lifted. To be sure, the 2014 is a bit lighter than this wine usually is, and yet at the same time all the elements are nicely balanced throughout. Bright red berry, orange peel, sweet tobacco, anise, mint and spice are nicely lifted. Despite its mid-weight, lithe structure, the 2014 possesses good persistence.
