Tasting notes
The 2006 Cortona Syrah Bramasole is another rich sensual beauty that opens up in the glass to reveal layers of minerals, crushed rocks, black cherries, spices, French oak and flowers. This is an exquisite, graceful wine that offers superb polish and tons of style. Today the wine is extremely primary but is should develop quite a bit of complexity in bottle. Still it is not a crime to open a bottle today, as the purity of the fruit is simply striking.

La Braccesca, the Antinori family’s property in Montepulciano, continues to be an excellent source for the wines from this corner of Tuscany. Importer: Ste.
