Opaque ruby. Suave, expansive black raspberry, cassis and Asian spice aromas are complemented by a slowly emerging floral nuance. Sappy, seamless and lively on the palate, displaying strong, spicy lift to the gently sweet black and blue fruit flavors. Finishes long, broad and supple, delivering bright mineral thrust, a cracked pepper flourish and smooth tannins.

The 2014 Cornas Champelrose is impeccably balanced and perfumed with classic Cornas notes of red and black fruits, black olive, beef blood and new saddle leather. Medium-bodied, elegant and silky on the palate, with beautiful purity, this classic 2014 should be drunk over the coming 7-8 years or so.
Opaque ruby. Powerful aromas of blackberry liqueur, pungent flowers and smoky minerals slowly take on a hint of mocha. Smooth and expansive on the palate, offering ripe, spicy dark berry flavors and a touch of fruitcake. Closes on a sweet floral pastille note, with very good energy, supple tannins and an echo of berry skin.
