Score 17.5/20 · Drink 2018-2025, Jancis Robinson MW, Aug 2018

On the nose, Mosbacher's Jesuitengarten sends out mixed messages of lanolin, herbs and banana (the latter should dissipate with time). The palate delights with yellow fruit and subtle minerality, a noticeable touch of wood and a borderline sweet finish. Love-or-hate wine, but substance and generosity of fruit are worth at least 17.5 points. (MS)
