Quite rich in a Semillon sort of way but zesty and dry on the end. Good, if very distinctive, wine. A slight nod to Ygrec but so much livelier. Good stuff. (JR)

The 2015 Opalie de Coutet is a little youthfully mute, revealing delicate green guava, pineapple and lime leaves notes with wafts of crushed rocks and yeast extract. Dry and medium-bodied with great intensity, it fills the palate with citrus and mineral layers, supported by a racy acid line and finishing long. Should cellar gracefully over 4-5 years.
