Cask sample. Juicy and sweet but not very subtle or rewarding. (JR)

The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes comes from 60-year-old vines. It offers undergrowth-infused dark berry fruit, hints of star anis emerge with time, open and expressive. The palate is medium-bodied with very supple tannins, quite citric thanks to the silver bead of acidity, touches of hoisin towards the sustained finish. Excellent.
