2021 Vosne Romanee Les Suchots

The maiden 2021 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru comes from the upper part of the vineyard close to Beau Monts and is matured in 50% new oak. Here is another very fragrant, well-defined bouquet that blossoms in the glass: pure red berry fruit, pressed rose petals and crushed stone. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, exquisite balance with palpable tension and energy on the livewire finish. It's not a voluptuous Suchots, more streamlined and penetrating. This oozes class and marks an impressive debut.
