The 2022 Saint-Véran Terroirs de Davayé is a blend of three different plots (Pommard, Côte-Rôtie and Chataignier) and matured in barrel for 4-5 months and then transferred into concrete. It has a more backward bouquet than its peers, fresh and marine-influenced. The palate is vibrant, with a touch of orange rind and bitter lemon, quite spicy towards the finish. This lingers in the mouth long after the wine has exited. The 2022 is a vibrant and vivacious Véran.
