Tasting notes
The 2021 Mâcon-Pierreclos En Crazy is the result of an early pick from Pierreclos, combined with the later press fractions from the subsequent picks, fermented and matured in concrete tanks. Offering up aromas of orange zest, nutmeg, peach and oatmeal, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and expressive, with less-than-usual mid-palate concentration and a saline, gently exotic finish.

The 2021 Mâcon-Pierreclos En Crazy has a light apple blossom nose with earthy scents. The palate is well balanced with a light lemon sherbet opening and modest depth. It's linear, with a dab of lemongrass toward the finish. This has a spring in its step, making it disarming at this stage. Early drinking, which probably means it will age for many years.
