Tasting notes
The 2020 Pinot Noir Silver Belt Vineyard Cuvée Natalie is laced with crushed raspberry fruit, mint, spice, blood orange, sweet pipe tobacco and incense. There are some hard edges, and the Natalie doesn’t have the typical depth readers have come to expect here but all things considered, the 2020 is a fine success for the year.

The 2020 Pinot Noir Cuvee Natalie from the Silver Belt Vineyard is perfumed and floral with fresh raspberry, beet root, and cinnamon. The palate is pure, with fine tannins, ripe red berries, rosehip, and wooded spices. It is drinking well now or will drink nicely over the coming 10 years.
Medium ruby in color, the 2020 Pinot Noir Cuvée Natalie Silver Belt Vineyard offers dynamic aromas of cranberries and blueberries with touches of orange peel, lilac and pencil shavings. The medium-bodied palate offers crunchy red fruit and alluring herbal undertones, with grainy tannins, seamless acidity and a long, layered finish.
Aromas of red fruit and berries, mushrooms and fresh garden herbs. Medium-bodied with soft tannins. Bright, with fresh acidity. Rather delicate, yet firm, with very nice balance and elegance.
About the producer

Kistler’s Chardonnays are some of the world’s most sought-after. This cult Californian producer crafts small volumes of exceptional, rich and generous, yet mineral and precise wines. With almost the entire production sold directly to their mailing list, the wines are also incredibly hard to find.
