Tasting notes
This grapefruit-hued sparkling wine has aromas of fresh berries, red apples and bread crust. It’s fresh, medium-bodied and nicely balanced, with fine bubbles. Dry feel. Drink now.

Quite youthful. (JR)
Tasted blind against the clock . Pale strawberry pink. Seemed to lose its fizz quite early. Big and beefy. Some personality! A tiny bit of chew on the end. (JR)
45–75% Chardonnay, 25–55% Pinot Noir, <5% Pinot Meunier. Dosage 9 g/l. Aged 36 months on lees. Salmon pink. Fresh redcurrant and red-apple aroma, zingy acid and biscuity notes on the finish. Saline and savoury. Lovely refreshment, and that fruit is very pronounced. Excellent winemaking, very satisfying. (RH)
