One of a handful of Cru Bourgeois from the Pauillac appellation, this wine exhibits a saturated dark ruby/plum color in addition to a sweet bouquet of black cherries and black currants, good acidity, ripe tannin and a moderately endowed character. This is a well-made Cru Bourgeois to consume over the next decade.

60.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 7.5% Petit Verdot. Caramel oakiness and an odd sawdust character too. Very firm tannins. Austere, and a bit disjointed. (RH)
