Score 85-87/100 · Robert Parker, May 2011
An attractive, easy to drink, fruity wine with lots of kirsch, spice box and herbs, this medium-bodied, supple 2010 is very good for its humble appellation.

Very dark crimson – like most of Derenoncourt’s 2010s. Broad and toasty on the nose. Sweet, sharply chiselled, emphatic start. Edgy and marked by very pronounced acidity at the moment. It may soften but it’s awfully hard work at the moment. (JR)
