The Le Sec de Rayne-Vigneau 2014, which is 100% Sauvignon Blanc, has an elegant bouquet with light peach and green apple scents that are nicely defined. The palate is fresh and crisp, slightly chalky in texture with plenty of green apple and fresh pear on the finish. Fine.

About the producer

Rayne Vigneau
The 1855 classification placed Ch. de Rayne Vigneau just behind Ch. d’Yquem – also a nearby neighbour. Its 84-hectare vineyard sits in a single block on gravel mounds, overlooking the Ciron in Sauternes, and producing impressive sweet wines.
