Score 87/100 · Robert Parker, Dec 2003
The 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Rock Terrace, usually the most accessible of the Diamond Creek Cabernets, possesses earthiness, a distinct mintiness, and astringent tannin in the finish that gives the wine an austere, angular mouthfeel. The bouquet reveals classic notes of cassis intermixed with tobacco leaf, cedar, and licorice. This Cabernet is medium-bodied, but excessively tannic. Tel. (707) 942-6926; Fax (707) 942-6936
