Touch of honeysuckle on the nose here, along with sweet candy floss, this is attractive and easy to drink, rose petals, citrus, white pear, a little soft on the finish but with charm. Harvest August 18 to September 1
Aromas of pear, peach and smoke preface the 2022 Blanc from Château Thieuley. This is a medium-bodied, juicy, tense wine with a pure and fresh finish. It is a blend of 45% Sauvignon Blanc, 12% Sauvignon Gris, 40% Sémillon and, for the first year, 3% Colombard.
Gunsmoke reduction on the first nose, clearing to show soft apricot and white peach stone fruits, a little obscured by the low acidities of the vintage, but this has charm and clear appeal. Harvest August 18 to September 1
