Tasting notes
Pale yellow. Mineral-laced citrus zest, jasmine and peach aromas pick up subtle kerosene and ginger nuances with air. Dry and nervy on the palate, offering vibrant lime and quince flavors that deepen through the midpalate while maintaining energy. The peach and ginger notes repeat emphatically on a very long, focused finish that leaves a hint of bitter lime pith behind. I have long been impressed by this wine's ability to reward patience.

Lime zest and suggestions of sea spray mark the nose of the 2016 Art Series Riesling. It's light to medium-bodied and quite austere on the palate, trailing away in a lingering thread of tart citrus. Drink it now with raw oysters or clams.
