The 2021 Mâcon La Roche Vineuse Les Cras has a more bashful nose at the moment, with yellow fruit and subtle tertiary scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly terse entry, fresh acidity, very saline and malic towards the finish. I feel that the Vieilles Vignes has a little more complexity.
